Are You Stuck?

Right now I think I'm learning that you can always do something to change your situation if you don't like it. You can make a decision to do something just like that. But to take the necessary steps to make it happen is what gives you the confidence to truly believe that you not only made the right decision, but that you have the power to fulfill it.
We usually want instant gratification, how fast can we get from point A to point B? We just have to realize that you can't always get from point A to B in a straight shot. Sometimes you have to go forward just to go backwards, then forward again, and make some turns. Sometimes you have to take 5 unnecessary steps just to simply get to where it is you want to be. And we hold ourselves back because we think it's so unnecessary that there just has to be an easier way. So in looking/waiting for that easier way, we basically give up on our ultimate goal.
What I'm saying is, we always have to remember that some stuff takes so much more time. It won't always be the ideal way you want to go about it. Sometimes you have to play it exactly the way life gives it to you. No shortcuts. But once you embrace that more, you'll see how you can still make it work for you.
I believe that there is always at least one path to get you where you want. It's just what you're willing to do to reach it. Sometimes you can do negative and reach it faster. Sometimes you can do it the right way and have to take your time. Your decision, but it's there. Just remember that slow progress is progress nonetheless. Do what you have to now and while you're doing that, figure out how you'll be able to get ahead once you're out of that. Don't settle on that path. Sometimes as difficult as life is, it's as simple as it will get. Stop focusing your efforts on trying to change that difficulty and roll with the punches so you can focus on the best way to deal with the difficulties. Sooner or later it'll start to simplify all on its own. Stop letting your situation speak for you and control what you do. Make it work for you so you can overcome that "stuck" feeling.
