Life Is Unexpected

I won't say life is too short, because it could be long. I think the proper statement is, life is unexpected. That statement holds true to the fact that it can be taken away in an instant, and given when there's doubt. Since we all expect to have a long fulfilling life yet have no clue as to if that'll happen or not, we shouldn't give up any chances to make it the best. Whether that's losing a good night's sleep to have fun with friends or staying late at work to make that extra bit of money, do what you can while you can.

The way I see it, I can always make money, not get lost memories back. The key is learning to balance your priorities so that you have time to do everything you want and need. Putting certain things on the back burner for a while is potentially putting off the chance to do something for the last time. I know that sound like a worst case scenario, but you honestly just never know.

Go start the first steps to accomplishing your dreams.  Instead of thinking about how far-fetched reaching them may be, just start to put in the work and see where it gets you. You never know. Talk to that one person you've always admired, rejection sucks but never knowing is worse. And considering how life goes, that won't kill you but who knows what could while you're worrying about whether you should speak up or not. Stand up for yourself. Stand up for another. Say how you feel. Act on how you feel. Compliment someone. Smile at someone. Don't walk around frowning because life is too unexpected to not go out with a smile.
